My Passion
I’ve long believed that real human connection is the cornerstone of a fulfilling life. Through our connections with others – in sharing thoughts, feelings, and experiences – we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we prosper.
I’m driven by the idea that technology can be blended into daily life in a way that is less obtrusive and more natural than anything experienced before. More than a tool, I believe that technology can augment the human experience precisely by serving as a conduit between people.
My goal is to create technology that will redefine the human experience, connecting more people than ever before in truly genuine and meaningful ways.
My Philosophies
Technology should be centered on the impact it has on individuals.
Too often, technology is implemented with no real purpose, or worse, used to exploit and manipulate its users.
No piece of technology should be created or implemented without a clear idea of the impact that it will have on the end user, and those benefits being the guiding principle.
Technology should lead to genuinely meaningful connections.
The internet is a supremely powerful tool for connection. Never before in human history has the world been so connected. But, is it authentic? Often, interactions on the internet are hollow, superficial, or hostile.
I believe there exist ways to promote more genuine interactions, and I’m determined to create spaces to serve this purpose.
Technology should enable learning of all kinds.
I believe that the most powerful human skill is the ability to change our minds – to gain new information or see new perspectives, and make the conscious choice to reevaluate one’s own beliefs.
By centering technology on its impact and allowing people to connect in genuine ways, we can use technology to create these spaces for people to exchange ideas, information, and perspectives and grow into the best versions of themselves.
